The RDS transfer tank is designed for transferring diesel fuel, gasoline or aviation fuel from the bed of a pickup to automobiles, heavy equipment, boats, 4-wheelers, generators, and other equipment. The tank/tool box combo design gives you all the extra benefits of the transfer tank along with the addition of a sizable storage box and a top of the line GPI pump, hose, and nozzle. 

This DOT approved aluminum transfer tank will not rust or corrode and the heavy duty design will ensure years of hassle free use. This tank can be used for fueling equipment but can also be used as an auxiliary tank to supply additional capacity to the main fuel tank on your truck.

Warning: Proper Use of Transfer Tanks

To ensure safety and optimal performance, do not fill your transfer tank to 100% capacity. Transfer tanks require sufficient headspace to allow for fuel expansion and vapor buildup. Overfilling the tank can lead to:

• Fuel Leaks: Excess fuel may escape through vents or seals, posing safety and environmental risks.
• Increased Pressure: Without adequate space for vapor, pressure buildup can damage the tank or connected systems.
• Compliance Issues: Overfilled tanks may violate local or federal regulations for fuel transport.

Safe Filling Recommendations

• Fill the tank to 90% of its capacity to allow room for fuel expansion.
• Use proper venting systems and check all connections for leaks before transport.
• Follow all local, state, and federal guidelines for the storage and transport of fuel.
